Made in Brazil.
The suede is made from the lower part of previously brushed cowhide leather to make it softer and more flexible. It comes from farms in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul). It is tanned in Brazil, without the use of dangerous or prohibited chemicals. VEJA uses conventional dyes that meet standards. Special attention is paid to the use of water during the tanning process. The cowhide comes from farms in Uruguay, a country known for its cattle farming culture and the quality of its leather.
